The Future of Health Services

Optimizing Access to Health Information

Advancements in public health, from diagnosis and treatment to research and solutions, continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Each day, more is known about how citizens need access to information, where researchers are making breakthroughs and what the health community can offer to improve lives and reduce the burden of disease.

By applying best practices in patient and customer experience, content strategy, and agile program management, we help our clients develop programs that optimize and make accessible researcher data, and craft digital solutions that empower our Federal and public health partners so they can bring the greatest good to the greater good.

We see a continually evolving health marketplace poised to take on opportunities made possible by digital design optimization and content delivery, wearables and gamification. How do these things enhance the state and knowledge of human health? Keeping track of how patients intersect with technology helps us understand how to create the ideal user experience, making adjustments along the way to accommodate behavior changes. Navigating this complex landscape is what SGS does best.

Our Experts

Our Clients

Life Sciences

Sapient partners with clinical researchers to develop better systems to solve today’s most important health and science challenges. Many of these researchers are on the frontline of understanding and curing some of the most chronic and intractable conditions and diseases in medicine.

Sapient knows that successful research is driven by the ability to collaborate and draw connections between diverse sets of data. To enable this collaboration, complex data sets need to be shared through interoperable, flexible and robust systems.  Sapient enables this collaboration by creating common data standards and tools. We work with researchers to implement technology solutions that are scalable and cost efficient, allowing for greater collaboration and enabling the acceleration of research findings for treatment and cures.

Digital Health Communications

As information seekers are increasingly mobile and want to be better informed about their medical choices, Sapient helps Federal health agencies and research institutions make their evidence-based, authoritative content more findable, relevant, and consumable.

Engaging large groups of constituents and empowering them to find information, reuse content, and provide input on shaping solutions has transformed the way health information is produced, categorized, shared, and retained. With our clients, Sapient builds and supports digital platforms that allow individuals to engage in conversations with previously inaccessible leaders and experts.

With our emphasis both on the information consumer and on making content more accessible, we develop digital communication strategies and digital platforms that help our clients reach their intended audiences and meet their engagement goals.

Health Administration & Management

Sapient works with our Federal partners to understand their programs’ larger mission goals and then develops processes and systems to facilitate the accomplishment of these goals.

The mission of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is to enhance the health and well-being of Americans. One of the ways it does this is by making healthcare accessible to Americans who live in underserved areas of the country. Another way it does this is in the regulation of tobacco products and the approval of pharmaceutical drugs. When Sapient is able to design processes and systems to expand the placement of clinicians in underserved areas of the country, or designs systems that help the government keep track of tobacco companies – we make sure that the engine and gears of these highly visible and critically important programs are running smoothly and transparently.
